On the Oregon Trail, near the Little (or Red) Vermillion River Crossing in what is now Pottawatomie County, Kansas. Soldiers killed by cholera are memorialized on what was oft-used campground. (Even after its demise as a settlers’ trail to the west, the route of the Oregon Trail was an important military trail.) Behind the simple memorial is the Louis Vieux Elm, at one time the largest elm tree in the USA. Further away and behind the flowering red bud tree is the modern crossing over the Little Vermillion.

What is wrong with the republican party? Do they want to do ANYTHING for the country and the people besides criticize EVERYTHING Obama does or tries to do? Do they have any better ideas on Healthcare reform? Do they try to work with the Democrats at all or do they just stir up the people and try to brainwash everyone into thinking that Obamas plan is bad and he wants to kill the old people and on and on and on. Pullleeeeeeeese! Isnt it a fact that a lot of the republicans are getting money from lobbyists for health care officials, insurance companies, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies to stop the healthcare reform? I know its a fact. And it is in the MILLIONS!!! Why doesnt anybody talk about that? They are crazy. They are not here for the American people they are all in it for themselves. Wake up America, the people need to take a stand against our congressmen and boot them all out of office. When the president puts forth a plan or a bill, let the people of the United States decide.

Do you want a grafiti t shirt? If you are, take a look simply no more than the Kase Two Graffiti T-Shirt on offer at the Style Wars Restoration Project. Created by renowned graffiti writer Kase Two (also referred to as Kase Two), it’s an absolute extraordinary example of his own trademark “Computer Rock Style” which stimulated every generation of graffiti artists after its creation in the early Eighties.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
